Psychologist & Hypnotherapist
Dr. Basma Kaldi
Evidence-based care, shaped around real people — individuals, families, and the systems they move through.
My work sits where rigorous method meets real human attention — because understanding a person fully means understanding the systems they move through too.

My path
My path began in organizational psychology — understanding how people function not only as individuals, but within families, teams, and the larger systems that shape their wellbeing. That same curiosity led me toward individual therapy and hypnotherapy, with the conviction that a person's wellbeing can never be fully understood outside the context they move through.
My approach
Today, my work takes several forms: individual sessions, medical hypnosis, and work with organizations. I see people navigating anxiety, trauma, and phobias, alongside more specific concerns like smoking cessation, chronic pain, or self-confidence — and I also work with children and adolescents. Much of it draws on the neuroscience of focus, stress, and performance: understanding how attention and the stress response actually work in the brain, then using that to make change durable. Every approach is grounded in clinically recognized methods, and always adapted to the person in front of me — never standardized.
Beyond the practice
I also believe psychological understanding shouldn't stay behind a closed door. Alongside my practice, I share what I've learned through a podcast in Darija, aimed at making these ideas accessible to a wider audience. Outside of my work, I remain a curious reader, always learning.
